Choose a photo that shows the sides, back, and top if possible. A single front-facing picture may not show the fade height, neckline, or blend clearly.
Pick a style from someone with similar hair texture. A cut on straight hair can look different on curls, waves, or thick coarse hair.
Tell your barber what you like about the photo: the fade height, the length on top, the lineup, the beard shape, or the overall finish. That detail matters more than just handing over a picture.
